Guilford Bridge Park

This cache was located within a small park along a stream and a highway. It was hidden within the rocks next to the highway.

The highlight of this cache was a rogue go-kart racer. He drove through the tunnel several times. Initially, we had hopes of a big Hog rolling through. But, our expectations were surpassed by a professional grade go-kart (sorry, no pictures).

Shawnee Lookout Cache

We found this cache within a park near the Indiana/Ohio border. There was some great historical information related to Indians.

Does anyone know what a "Borrow Pit" is? I keep meaning to research this, but there were several of these and I had never heard of them before.

Unfortunately, the previous geocacher did not hide the cache after finding it very well. Because of this, we were able to see the cache from about 50 feet away. Ammo boxes stick out in the woods fairly easily :) This is a good reminder of the importance of hiding the cache after you've discovered it.

Also, we found a pit of snakes which there is a picture of. It's kind of difficult to see them, but they are there.

The Double O's

The Double O's -- this was the first cache of the day. The weather was phenomenal and right next to this location was a laser surgery facility for pets. Yes pets. My only question is, do they do lipo? What about botox? I mean fluffy deserves it right?

As it turns out, there was a fellow Geocacher already at the cache. That sort of took the suspense out of it, considering he showed us the location *sigh*. We did learn that this particular individual had completed over 1500 caches. Totally amazing.
